corned beef and cabbage with potatoes

(COROZAL,Puerto Rico.)

Ingredients

1 -12 oz. can of corned beef
1 - large potatoes cut into slices
1/2- small cabbage chopped
1 - medium onion cut into thin slices
salt (to taste)
pepper (to taste)
1 - tablespoon margarine

In a preheated oven (global sun oven) to 300 degrees. In a dark pot add the potatoes to cover the entire base of the pot evenly, add salt, pepper and margarine. Goes into the oven and cook for 45 minutes to an hour, then add other ingredients in this order, a layer of onions, cabbage and corned beef, allow to cook for one and half hours.

I am going to have to try some Chilean dishes in our solar ovens,(my wife is Chilena)and see if we can get some international flare into our recipes...look what you've started.
