Garlic and herb roast beef

by Mark Rosenberg
(Tucson, Az)

I have solar cooked this in December in Arizona. I used a Sun Oven. Max outside temp. was 62 F. My oven reached 315 F. in about 1 hour.

  • Slice garlic thin

  • mix with any herb you want.

  • Cut slits in beef and add your garlic and herb to each slit.

  • Rub beef with olive oil and season with sea salt and pepper.
  • cook it up in solar oven.

I use a digital remote thermometer to monitor my food. Enjoy....

Thank you very much Mark for sharing your solar oven recipe for herb roast beef.
I love a solar cooked roast of any kind because they are more tender and flavorful.

Do share any other solar cooker recipes that you would like in the future, as well as photos if you can.
