Rotating my Solar Cooker
by Marie-Jo DUCHESNE
Under the whole cooker (reflector + pot), I set a square 4 wheel wooden frame. This allows me to turn the cooker as the sun turns... without risking to twist the reflector.
Very good idea Marie-Jo,
that device is what we call a "Lazy Susan" and it definitely does make rotating a solar cooker easier as well as helping to protect the reflector panels. I need to do the same with my Hot Pot Solar Cooker so that I don't ruin them as quickly.
Thanks for the comments.
If you would like to share some photos of your solar cooking tracking device we would love to see it.
