Solar Cooked Cinammon Raisin 7 grain bread

by DeJun
(Charlotte North Carolina)

I placed the global sun oven in the sun and the global sun oven temperature went to 275 degrees Farenheit and I baked a 7 grain raisin walnut cinnamon bread in the oven and it came out perfect after 2 ½ hours of baking in the global sun oven.

Here is the recipe for the 7 grain raisin walnut cinnamon bread:

Combine 4 ½ cups of all purpose flour, 2 teaspoons of salt, 2 tablespoons of yeast in a large mixing bowl.

I heated 1 ½ cup of milk, 1 ½ cup of water, ¼ cup of honey and ¼ cup of canola oil until this mixture is hot to touch. Then, add the liquid mixture to the dry mixture and then add 3 cups of ground red wheat, ½ cup of ground white wheat, ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon, 1/8 cup of ground millet, 1/8 cup of ground barley, 1/8 cup of golden flax seed, and 1/8 cup of brown flax seed and 1/8 cup of oats.

Knead this together until smooth and elastic. If necessary, add more white wheat to get the desired smooth and elastic texture. Then place the dough in a greased bowl and turn the dough to grease the top. Cover and let it rise in the global sun oven for 20 minutes. Then pull out and roll the dough to desired loaf size.

Place ¼ cup of butter on the dough once flattened, then add ½ cup of brown sugar and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon mixture to the dough with a spoon by lightly sprinkling until the dough is covered. Then add ½ cup of raisins and ½ cup of chopped walnuts to the dough evenly distributed the walnuts and raisins onto the dough. Then, grease the loaf pan and then roll the dough like a cinnamon roll and place the dough seam side down into the loaf pan. Cover with a glass top and let it rise in the global sun oven for 30 minutes or until it doubles in size. Bake in the global sun oven for 2 ½ hours at 275 degrees Fahrenheit. It is delicious!
