Recipe 36 in the Solar Hot Pot

No-Bake Sun Cookies

12:45 pm—preheat Solar Hot Pot by setting up facing the sun, with the lid on.

Then prep by gathering (doesn’t have to be mixed):

2 c. sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter (room temperature)

1:00 pm—sugar mixture: put in Hot Pot. Cover, set timer for 30 minutes.

1:30 pm—stir quickly, cover, set timer for 15 minutes or watch until it bubbles.

1:45 pm or after mixture bubbles a little—stir again and add:

1 t. vanilla
1/2 c. peanut butter
3 c. dry oats

Mix thoroughly and drop onto cookie sheets. Let cool (or eat while still hot and burn your fingers and tongues like we sometimes do. LOL)

Oh, yeah! Another recipe done in the Solar Hot Pot that seems easier than on the stove! It worked great.
