Oh my! Chicken Pot Pie!

by Shellie
(St. George, Utah)

Finally the sun is back! After several cloudy days I was happy to put my GSO out today to warm my lunch. I intended on cooking the vegetables yesterday in my Sun Oven for this dish but due to the weather, I ended up cooking them inside. Thankfully the sun was out today and it only took 15 min to preheat to 350 degrees. I reheated my lunch relatively quick and enjoyed my chicken and pot pie very much. Looking forward to lots of sunny days this week for more great solar cooking!

Solar Cooked Chicken Pot Pie, sounds great!

My wife and I just barely (3 minutes ago) just ate our chicken and beef pot pies that we had cooking for our lunch today. (ours were frozen, but still delicious)

Nothing like a hot pot pie on a cold day, even solar cooked.

Thanks for sharing.
