The new leveling rack is wider and easier to maintain and clean and can serve as a trivet when placed on the bottom of the oven box allowing for larger poultry and hams wrapped in oven roasting/turkey bags.

Focusing of the All American Sun Oven is too easy now...just line up the light spot over the hole inside of the focusing cube (as shown in photo) and you are good to go. By lining up the spot you are assuring that your "right to left tracking" as well as your elevation are spot on and you have a properly focused solar oven.

New T-leveling leg for more stability

Stakes for securing your oven against wind


This feature is one of my favorites...much greater stability.

Now, one has far less worry that the fully extended leveling leg will make the oven more vulnerable to tipping and spilling.

The stakes are an even greater addition to the overall stability of the new T-leg addition...this makes for a very stable cooker.

If you are cooking on a concrete surface then the T-leg can be stabilized by adding weight such as small sandbags or bricks.

Even though it is called an oven, food can be baked, boiled, and steamed at cooking temperatures of 360° F to 400° F. There is no movement of air in an All American SUN OVEN®, allowing food to stay moist and tender and flavorful. Questions: I live in upstate NY. 
Would I be able to get the oven hot enough to use in my area in the winter?

You should have no problems getting your solar oven up to 350 F. in New York, even on a cold winter day.

We had our coldest winter in the last forty years here, -5 below, which is unusual for our area and the day after the (unusual snow storm) I had my three Sun Ovens out cooking without a problem.

You just need a nice sunny day. (even high thin cloudy days you can cook many items)

We have customers all over the New England States and Canada that solar cook in the winter on the sunny days they do have.
