how to apply vinyl to 2x3 foot dish

I would like to cover a 2x3 foot HughesNet oval dish. What is the best way? The instructions say to use slightly soapy water, then squeegee it out. I don't think squeegeeing will work on a satellite curved dish. I'm wondering if 2" tape would not be easier?

Reference to appropriate website for info would be fine....?

Reflectance rate of HVAC tape

That tape is a bit less reflective, but it will work, it just may not be quite as effective as some other reflective materials.
There are some others out there that are a step up from the tapes that you buy at the home improvement stores.
You can use mylar blankest as well, but you will have a battle with avoiding wrinkles when adhering it to a surface.
Here on this site you can also find a reflective material that works well also. Reflective vinyl
