Boiling Foam Cup
by: Matthew

If you want to boil in a foam cup, I would not use the parabolic because it would melt the cup even with water in it. It is far too much power. The oven style cooker would do a great job but is more difficult to build from scratch. I would recommend you build a cooker like the HOT POT Panel Cooker. It combines good power from the panels with heat retention from the oven style (enclosure bag). Also if possible, color the foam cup a dark color like black or brown. It could be very simple to build. Simply visit the Hot Pot page for ideas. Let me know if you would like a design and I can help put one together. Thanks for posting on Cantinawest!
