Meet Dylan, 13 year old Solar Chef

What interests would you expect a 13 year old young man to have besides La Crosse, Wrestling, Football, Baseball, Basketball, Science, Scouts, and Video games?
Meet Dylan Warr who lives in N. Las Vegas, Nevada who participates in all the above activities, and besides that gets top grades at School and is an awesome big brother to 2 younger brothers.

The Newest challenge Dylan has taken on is Solar Cooking. His Grandma gave his family a Hot Pot Cooker and Dylan is the one who has learned to harness that desert heat and sun to make treats and meals for family and friends.
Besides cooking at home, he has taken it to parks and scout camp where he has cooked everything from Hard boiled eggs, to pulled pork sandwiches, to enchilada casserole.
I bet he's especially popular at scout camps!

Dylan says the only real failure he's had was the 1st time he cooked Hard boiled eggs. He cooked them too long and they weren't very good.
He says also that he feels especially confident if for any reason the power grid went down, he could still eat some good hearty meals from the Hot Pot!; and what else interests a 13 year old if its not a good hearty meal!!!!

Dylan says more people should cook this way. After all he's only 13 and he can do it!
