ms (mittigating smell in a solar oven?)

I cleaned my sun oven with half a cup of baking soda and a glass bowl of warm water after letting the bowl of baking soda water heat up inside for about an hour. I sponged off the interior a few times then towel dried it. It absorbed the new smell just fine. The steam from heating up the bowl appeared to have permeated the interior with enough neutralizibg baking soda that it got cooked into the surfaces. Baking soda is good for odors in many other applications, so it made sense.
